Ohio Business Opportunity Fair 2014

The Ohio Minority Supplier Development Council invites you to be a part of one of the largest annual events in Ohio. The Ohio Business Opportunity Fair is a statewide business fair that benefits corporations and Ohio’s certified minority business enterprises. This year’s event will be held at Columbus Convention Center, 400 North High Street, Columbus, OH on June 2-4, 2014.

2012 OBOF Our goal is to demonstrate the positive effect of supplier diversity by focusing on:

  • Connecting Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Corporations
  • Opening Communications
  • Fostering Introductions
  • Providing Training & Development opportunities
  • Enhancing existing relationships
    • Corporate to MBE
    • MBE to MBE
    • Corporate to Corporate
    • Corporate to Government
    • Developing real opportunities to do business

In this global society, we know that supplier diversity is a business imperative and embracing diversity is the key.

By bringing together major corporations, small businesses, minority business enterprises and government agencies, the 2014 Ohio Business Opportunity Fair will enable participants to leverage the strength and competitive advantage of diversity. Minority business enterprises attending will have an opportunity to demonstrate the value of their products and services, while large corporations and their prime suppliers can discuss current or upcoming procurement opportunities.

Ultimate Matchmakers are Back!

One-on-One appointments offer an opportunity for corporate members and minority-owned companies to discuss current or upcoming opportunities.  MBE exhibitors will be given first priority when scheduling meetings.  Only those council certified MBEs who either exhibit (have a booth) or purchase full-conference packages will be permitted to participate in the Ultimate Matchmaker at a reduce rate.

Please note registration for Matchmaker does not ensure a scheduled appointment.  Appointments will be based on corporate buyers needs.  Please register early as space is limited.

The OBOF is shaping up to be the best ever. We encourage you to participate in the Ohio Business Opportunity Fair. In addition to the opportunities for business, the opportunity fair is a time to build new relationships. Due to limited space, early registration is encouraged!

Thank you for attending the 2014 Ohio Business Opportunity Fair!
