Stephanie Gottschlick

co-chair and emcee for TEDxDayton2014

Stephanie will share how TEDxDayton has successfully created a movement of engaged thinkers in the Dayton region. Created in the spirit of TED’s mission, “ideas worth spreading,” TEDxDayton is an all-volunteer, independently organized event creating a TED-like experience in our community to spark deep conversations and create connections. Its second annual event was held in October, during which approximately 20 speakers gave “the talk of their lives” on topics ranging from individualized healthcare to human trafficking to classical music.

Stephanie Gottschlich is senior strategist for communications and stakeholder relations for the president and provost at Wright State University, where she works across multiple university divisions and colleges to connect public, community, media and military/government partners to boost the university’s strategic objectives. Stephanie also develops communications strategy for the university and its Office of Communications.

A former higher education and business reporter, Stephanie has nearly fifteen years experience in communications.

A Dayton native, Stephanie supports the Dayton region in work and life, volunteering for several organizations and initiatives that support the region’s growth. Currently, she serves as co-chair/chair of TEDxDayton and chair of the annual Valentine’s Ball for the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association.

While we understand that plans and schedules change causing missed events, we are often held financially liable for the headcount we provide vendors and, as a non-profit, cannot absorb these charges.

Invoices will be sent to individuals who register but don’t pre-pay and provide sufficient cancellation notice. Registrants who are not able to cancel 3 days prior to an event may send another individual from their company in their place. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in this matter.

The City of Dayton Human Relations Council is host to the Greater Dayton Minority Business Assistance Center (MBAC). A component of the State of Ohio Development Services Agency, MBAC provides management and technical assistance, procurement information, bonding assistance, cost estimating services and organizational assessments. For businesses engaged in the construction sector, the Center also provides Construction & Plan Room assistance. MBAC offers free assistance to minority, woman and small businesses in Montgomery, Green, Clark, Dark, Preble, and Miami counties of Ohio.
